Giving Back

Please ask if you would like a loyalty card for the shop. This is our way of saying thank you and giving you well-earned rewards. You earn a tree stamp for every £10 spent. A full card with ten stamps earns a £5 gift voucher to be redeemed against your next book purchase.

1. To earn reward points, please present the card to the cashier at the time of purchase. Transactions made without the card cannot be recorded.
2. Points are allocated for each whole ten pounds spent and have no monetary value until converted.
3. Cardholders cannot claim points on purchases made before they joined the scheme.
4. A fully stamped card entitles you to five pounds off your next purchase. 
5. The Wonky Tree cannot be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged cards.
6. Points will be awarded on, and can be redeemed against, all merchandise sold in The Wonky Tree, with the exception of gift vouchers and Book Tokens.
7. The scheme can be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotions.
8. The scheme is for personal use only.

Once you have completed a stamped loyalty card you qualify for a VIP card.  The VIP card is made from recycled plastic and is linked to our payment system so that any purchase you make large or small will earn you points towards your next £5 gift voucher.

Please note: Gift vouchers and National Book Tokens are excluded 

To encourage reading for pleasure, we have introduced our Read 8 card for Primary aged children. 

Every book chosen by the child receives a stamp. When the card is full (8 leaves stamped) the child is entitled to choose a free book to read up to the value of £9.

1. To earn stamps, please present the card when you buy your book. We cannot give you a stamp without you or your card, so please bring it with you.
2. You will earn a stamp for every children's book you buy over the value of £5. An adult cannot use this card to collect stamps for you.
3. A full card with 8 stamps entitles you to choose a free children's book up to the value of £9.
4. The Wonky Tree cannot replace any stamps you have earned if you lose your card. Please keep it safe! 
5. These cards can be used until you reach the end of KS2.

We are very happy to support and encourage local book groups by offering a 10% discount on group orders.

If you belong to a book group with six or more members and wish to take advantage of this offer, please enquire in the shop.

All we ask is that there is one contact per book group who orders and collects the books. Thank you!
